About

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 6 years of experience in the mental health field. Outside of therapy, I am also a certified yoga teacher (CYT). One of my greatest passions is increasing wellness for BIPOC communities through a holistic lens by being attentive to the connection of our mind, body, & spirit. I believe that everyone has the tools they need within them to navigate their current stressors, but sometimes we just need help finding them. I tell my patients all the time "you're the one doing the driving; I am just the GPS!". I utilize person-centered and strengths-based approaches. I have special interest in working with individuals whose current stressors include trauma, anxiety, depression, & parenting concerns. I am trained in Circle of Security Parenting, which focuses on attachment and the parent/child relationship. I am newly trained in EMDR. My goal for all my patients is that they learn effective skills that not only addresses their concerns right now, but empowers them to be their best selves in the future.
