About

Hi there! I’m a licensed psychologist who is originally from Omaha, NE and resides in Houston, TX. With the PSYPACT Certification, I am able to provide virtual services to people in many states across the country, including Nebraska. I earned my doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the APA-accredited program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I developed expertise in Black mental health and group therapy. I am a therapist, consultant, and public speaker. My approach to therapy is emotion focused and interpersonal, which essentially centers your emotional experience and relationships. I work with young adults and professionals to help you process challenging emotions, understand any information your feelings hold, and clarify your needs. It's important to me that therapy be a space you feel seen, heard, understood, and respected to talk about whatever you wish. This includes how things like racism, sexism, homophobia, etc are impacting you. If you're interested in working together, I encourage you to schedule a free phone consultation on my website. Let's connect!
