About

As a dedicated African-American therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals and families uncover their “why”, the deeper meaning behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe that true healing begins with understanding oneself, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space where clients can explore, grow, and thrive. My therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Exposure Therapy to meet each client where they are. By combining evidence-based practices with genuine empathy and collaboration, I aim to empower clients to challenge unhelpful patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and move toward intentional living. Whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to help each person connect to their inner strength and purpose, transforming pain into progress and fostering lasting change within both the individual and the community.
